Skip Hire

Have skips delivered to a site, and collected when full, by our recommended waste management professionals. Skip hire is a simple waste clearance option for those generating small to intermediate material volumes. RSR Group can arrange to have skips dropped off in a convenient area of your site so that your workforce can fill them with acceptable forms of listed waste.

Once full, we will arrange for skips to be collected and, if you need them, for more skips to be dropped off. RSR Group can arrange to have skips delivered in a choice of sizes, from 8 cubic yards and running up to 16 cubic yards.

Roll-On/Roll-Off Containers

For a more flexible waste management solution that allows you to position a unit wherever it makes loading easier, consider the benefits of 20-yard and 40-yard roll-on/roll-off containers. Fitted with locking wheels which allow for easy relocation to different areas of a site, containers have impressive load capacities, and we arrange emptying on a scheduled basis or by request.

If a skip doesn’t have the space to accommodate your waste, a roll-on/roll-off container will. This is a recommended choice for trades and industries that generate intermediate to large-sized scrap and waste consignments.

Grab Hire

Avoid manual loading and enable a faster waste clearance by choosing RSR Group to remove consignments by grab lorry. A grab hire service uses a fleet vehicle with a hydraulic arm and bucket that “grabs” waste and loads it onto the truck’s bed. Instead of having to manually load waste into a skip or a roll-on/roll-off container, a trained operative loads the grab lorry on your behalf.

This service is best suited to the largest waste volumes and, based on the size of your consignment, collections can take as few as 15 minutes. A grab lorry can even collect waste stored behind fences and perimeter hoardings.

Muck Away

If you work in groundworks or construction, or if your work generates spoil in a large volume, you can have materials collected by a grab lorry as part of a muck away service. When a bulk excavation job leaves you with a surplus of hardcore, rubble or topsoil, we can arrange responsive collections so that a site stays clear of waste and your operations can continue unhindered.

Because muck away services are usually needed during the earlier stages of a construction or landscaping project, RSR Group advises that you plan your collections in advance. This will help to keep your project timelines intact.

Transit Tippers

If a grab lorry isn’t sufficient for a muck away project and you are working on a much larger scale, we can include the provision of transit tippers into your waste management package. Instead of loading spoil onto the bed of the grab lorry, the grab lorry loads waste into tippers. This makes it easier – and faster – to move spoil to another location or to a licensed transfer station.

Transit tippers have impressive load capacities, both in terms of the weight carried and volume held. We can arrange to have as many tippers as you need brought to site to facilitate muck away operations in one fell swoop.
